Importing from ArcGIS
You can bring layers from ArcGIS into your Organizational Catalog so they're available to map authors alongside your other governed data.
Connecting
Sign in to ArcGIS Online, or to an ArcGIS Enterprise portal (through a proxy), from within the Organizational Catalog. Icon Map then lets you browse the feature layers you have access to — your own, those shared with your groups, and those shared across your organization.
Importing
Select one or more feature layers to import. The catalog converts each one into the same map-ready format as any other catalog layer (a tileset plus a bounds dataset), so imported ArcGIS layers behave exactly like the rest of your catalog: styleable, filterable, and bindable to your data.
Very large layers may be flagged as too large for direct import; server-side import for these is part of the product roadmap.
Next steps
- Organizational Catalog — manage and schedule your layers.
- Catalog layers — add imported layers to a map.
