Layer Control

The Layer Control displays a list of all layers on your map with visibility toggles, allowing users to show or hide layers to focus on the data they want to examine.

Enabling Layer Control

You can enable the Layer Control in the Map Controls settings. Once enabled, a layer control panel appears on your map showing each configured layer.

Using Layer Control

When enabled, the layer control panel displays:

  • Layer visibility toggles - Checkboxes to show or hide each layer
  • Layer organization - Layers grouped logically based on your configuration
  • Expandable sections - Collapse or expand layer groups to manage display

Interactive Features

Users can:

  • Toggle layer visibility on and off with checkboxes
  • View which layers are currently visible
  • Quickly access layer controls without opening the configuration panel

Integration with Legend

The Layer Control works seamlessly with the Legend control. When both are enabled, you can choose to display legends inline under each layer in the layer control, or as a separate panel on the map.

Positioning

You can position the layer control in any corner of the map using the control positioning options. It automatically scales and adapts to your map's layout and theme.
